Why Metiva
A tool you use, or the system your company runs on.
Most agency software is a picture of your business kept beside the business. An operating system is the business, running. Metiva is built to be the second kind: one connected system your agency operates inside, not another login to reconcile at month end.

The thesis
Representational, or constitutive.
The distinction sounds academic until you have lived in the gap between ten tools that each keep their own copy of the same company. That gap is the whole reason Metiva exists.
A tool you use
Your CRM holds a copy of your customers. Your invoicing tool holds a copy of your money. Your project board holds a copy of your work. Each is a separate model of the same company, and keeping those models in agreement is a second job nobody is paid to do. When they disagree, you call it a reconciliation meeting.
The system you run on
The work is not copied in. The work happens in it. A lead becomes a deal, becomes a signed contract, becomes a paid invoice, and that is one record changing state, not five tools matched up at month end. The system is not a description of the operation. It is the operation.
The archetype
This has already worked, twice.
A vertical operating system, built for one industry's real workflow, beats a stack of general tools. It happened in the trades and in construction. Digital agencies are next, and that is the whole bet.
For the trades
ServiceTitan
ServiceTitan gave HVAC, plumbing and electrical companies one system for dispatch, jobs, invoicing and marketing. Before it, those businesses ran on a whiteboard and a handful of disconnected tools. It became the system the trades run on.
For construction
Procore
Procore did the same for construction: one place for projects, documents, budgets and the field. Not a better point tool bolted onto the rest, but the platform the whole project lives on.
For digital agencies
Metiva
Agencies got the general tools: a CRM here, a project board there, ten logins and a spreadsheet holding it together. Metiva is the vertical operating system built for how an agency actually works, with messages, leads, deals, contracts, work, invoicing and attribution on one spine.
How we sell it
Configured for your agency, not a self-serve signup.
Metiva is not a credit-card SaaS you switch on by yourself. It is an operating system we build around how your agency works, then run with you. That changes both what you buy and how you buy it.
Configured for your agency
We map your stack, model your brands and clients, and configure Metiva for how your agency actually runs. You go live on a system that fits, not a blank template you have to assemble alone.
A setup fee, then a service retainer
You pay a one-time implementation fee for the build, then a monthly service retainer (a supportabonnement) for hosting, maintained integrations, support and accurate attribution. The model is in plain sight on the pricing page, and we quote you directly.
Unlimited seats
Priced on the system, not per user. Put your whole team, and where it fits your clients, on Metiva without a per-seat meter deciding who gets access.
A real rollout, with a founder
The person who built the system scopes your rollout and answers when something breaks. High-touch on purpose, because an operating system is not something you install alone on a free trial.
Why the Netherlands first
We are starting where the economics line up.
A vertical operating system wins one market at a time. The Netherlands is the right first market for reasons that are structural, not sentimental.
Retainer culture
Dutch agencies already buy the way Metiva is sold: a setup fee, then a monthly supportabonnement for the ongoing relationship. We do not have to teach the market what a service retainer is.
A dense, competitive agency market
The Netherlands has a deep population of digital and performance agencies competing on proof. When measurement is the binding constraint, the agency that can reconcile spend to real sales keeps the account.
Digital-first and distributed
Widespread remote and hybrid working means these agencies already run on software, expect their stack to live online, and feel the cost of ten disconnected tools more sharply than most.
From the founder
“I ran paid media and hit the attribution wall myself. Metiva is the operating system I needed and could not buy, so I am building it, for Dutch agencies first.”
Shape the operating system while it is still being grown.
We are onboarding a small number of Dutch agencies as launch partners: founder-led implementation, the real roadmap, and a direct line to the people building it. No borrowed logos, no invented case studies.
Questions
Straight answers on the idea.
No. A CRM keeps a copy of your customers beside the rest of your tools. Metiva is the system the work happens in: the same record moves from lead to deal to signed contract to paid invoice, so there is nothing to reconcile between tools at month end.
Because a vertical operating system wins by fitting one industry's real workflow. ServiceTitan did it for the trades and Procore for construction. We would rather be the system one industry runs on than a generic tool that is nobody's first choice.
No. Metiva is configured around how your agency works and rolled out with you, with a one-time setup fee and a monthly service retainer. Seats are unlimited, priced on the system rather than per user. You can see the model on the pricing page.
We are pre-launch and honest about it. There are no borrowed logos or invented case studies on this site. We are taking a small group of launch partners now, and a named reference only ever appears with that partner's consent.
See the thesis run
The honest way to judge the idea is to watch the system run.
